The ego is the part of us that identifies with our body and the personality of ourself. The ego is the little ‘I’ which thinks thoughts such as: “I am good.” “I am bad,” “I’m much better than that person,” “I am inferior to everyone else”.

Previously, I looked at how to reduce the influence of the ego. In this article I thought I would look at reasons why it is a good idea to reduce the ego.

Ego is Caught in the duality of good and bad

For every good thought, there is an equal and opposite idea. For example, when we have a tremendous sense of pride, we feel an equal measure of humiliation when our pride is punctured. When the ego criticises other people, the ego feels an equal measure of guilt when the roles are reversed. To avoid feelings of inadequacy, we should not seek to just avoid doing the wrong thing, we should also seek to reduce our ego; it is this that will enable us to detach from feelings of pride and humiliation.

Ego knows no Peace

When we live in the ego, we always will find inner peace an elusive goal. The reason is that the ego constantly worries and doubts. When we are subject to these thoughts a lasting peace cannot take hold. To attain peace of mind, we need to let go of the ego and live in the here and now. See also Seven steps to inner peace

Ego lacks a sense of oneness

The ego likes to be loved, appreciated and adored. But, in the love of the ego, there is an expectation of receiving things in a certain way. When the ego loves it is about possession. It wants to hold on to and own another person. The love of the ego is conditional; it gives in expectation of receiving something in return. True love is about creating a sense of oneness with other people. When we identify with others to such an extent they no longer feel separate from ourselves, we will can give without expectation. But, this experience cannot be achieved through identifying with the ego.

The ego can never be perfect

From the ego’s perspective the secret of life is to always do the right thing and be the right person. The problem is that this is impossible; it is simply human nature that we make mistakes. There will be times when the ego will inevitably feel disappointed. The solution is not to avoid ever making a mistake; the solution is to reduce the ego, so we can enjoy life, even if we don’t live up to the high expectations of the ego.

It is the Ego that divides.

Conflict arises because we feel separated from other people. We see others as the enemy and therefore we feel threatened by them. The ego may not like to admit it, but it constantly doubts and worries about what people think. The ego identifies with our limited self and so this inevitably leads to feelings of Inadequacy. From this feeling of inadequacy the ego gains a desire to assert its superiority. This leads to displays of outer strength. This desire to assert supremacy is a constant source of conflict in the world. If we could let go of the desire to prove our strength and supremacy, a peaceful co-existence would be much easier.

The ego is Nearly Always wrong.

Analyse what your thoughts say about yourself. The ego is tricky because sometimes it likes to make us think we are really good; the ego gives us a false sense of pride and superiority. At other times, the ego can swing to the other extreme and make us feel miserable and hopeless. Neither extremes are true, the ego often likes to trick us into thinking we are the wisest person; but, it is similarly wrong when it makes us feel miserable for a tiny mistake. Holding both extreme views about ourselves encourages us to have a misplaced idea of what we are; both lead to unhappiness.

"As we head into the year 2010, we are moving into a time when time, as we know it is changing. This has many causes. One is that our bodies are starting to react to a higher vibration of energy that is coming into our energy field here on earth. This energy field has been called the Photon Belt, and it is here for a purpose. Since 1982 this band of energy has been approaching closer and closer to our planet and has been having an incredible effect on all those who are receptive to its energy. It is speeding up time, as we know it and taking us away eventually, from linear time. This energy has also been the cause of hundreds of thousands of people around the earth plane searching for the spiritual within themselves. Seeking healing on the many levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Transforming many clerks, secretaries, shop workers, factory workers etc., into becoming healers either on a full time basis or part time.

As we head towards the year 2010 this band of energy, because that is what it is, is heading closer and closer to our earth plane. It is not only creating a problem with time as we know it, but it is also affecting us physically. Very few books have been written on this subject, and the few that have, are so technical you need a special dictionary just to understand the terms they are written in. It was in this understanding and after finding nothing to help me as to what was happening, that I decided to write this information. I hope that it will help many people who are spiritually developed, searching spiritually, or just opening the door to understanding the changes that can occur because of doing this.

These changes are occurring because the spiritual world are helping us, are helping us to raise the vibration of our energy to cope with the higher vibration that our earth plane is going through. You may have noticed (who hasn't) that time as we know it is speeding up. Once you had all the time in the world, you got up in the morning and time stood still all day, you meandered through the day and managed to do all your chores and then at the end of the day, sleep. These days you are no longer out of bed and it is noon! You ask yourself, where did the day go? It soon is evening and you have done nothing that you planned to do, time has just gone haywire. The cause of this is the Photon Belt.

If you have opened the door spiritually, are on the path, or are what is termed a Light-worker (someone already working for the spiritual realms) then you can guarantee that you will have one or more of the following symptoms. As the energy changes on the planet, so our bodies will change. Many people will not be able to handle the energy and will decide on an unconscious level to vacate the planet either by their own hand, or by accident, but it will be their choice when it happens. For those who stay and move into the energy of the Photon Belt, not only will time not be the same as it was, but the following symptoms may be experienced. If you are one of those experiencing these symptoms, take heart, you are not alone. Hundreds and thousands of other people around the world are also experiencing them.

For many years we have been told about the earth shifting in axis. Of major changes that are coming towards the turn of the century, well, it is here, and nobody is prepared for it. It is in effect, "The Christ Energy". It is preparing those who have been waiting spiritually for the dawning of the new age and also at the same time "like a thief in the night", as Christ said of his return. You do not show your true character when you are around people like yourself. You show your true character when you are around people different from you. It is because you will THINK you show yourself around people like you but actually when you meet people DIFFERENT from you and you actually react to that only THEN will you show your true colors. Because only THEN do you show who you are on the INSIDE. If you accept them or be interested in their differences, you will be shown a good person. You will show to be calm and understanding. But if you criticize them or feel negative about it, as you cannot handle the free will of others being different(stemming from your own negativities), then you show yourself to be negative and unwise.

7th Density
Awareness as the multidimensional experience, group-matrix identity, (social memory complex). This is the frequency of total oneness or integration and vibrations at this frequency are merged in identity and become a mass-conscious whole. They magnetize those in other frequencies and provide the current for the natural flow toward integration. Once the seventh density beings reach critical mass, they will progress thru the Prism of Lyra (from our point of view it will then be a black hole exit point) and reach the next octave where another adventure awaits.

6th Density
Awareness as the dimension itself. This has often been called the "Christ Consciousness" in that it displays a frequency level equal to that of the the Christ or Buddha. >From this frequency a total remembrance occurs, and the one begins taking responsibility for the Whole rather then the Self. The process of progressing the Self and progressing the Whole becomes one and the same.

5th Density
Experiental awareness of "I" as a group identity, not bound by linear time. In this density sentient consciousness begins to awaken to its heritage. this is the density of wisdom. As one awakens the wisdom within, they very often want to share it with those who are still focused in the lower densities. many from this realm choose to become guides for others. A 5th density being merges with its family of consciousness ("oversoul" or "higher self" if you will) and begins to remember. This is the first density in which a nonphysical orientation is experienced. Note: there is no clear-cut distinction when transiting from 5th to 7th densities. Because these densities are not physically oriented, there is much blending in these transitions.

4th Density
Containment of volumetric awareness, superconsciousness, reintegration of group identity without loss of ego identity; as vibration increases, perception of past, present, and future become more fluid along with the ability to interface with multidimensional and multidensity realities, negatively oriented consciousness becomes more difficult to maintain. Presently on Earth, 4th density reality is overlapping third. In humanity's case, this can account for the increased desire for unity, peace and unconditional love as opposed to the illusion of separation that characterizes third density. The vibrationary rate of one's reality is stepped up, and therefore one may be faced with personal issues in a much more rapid and intense way.

3rd Density
Volumetric awareness, ego, loss of group identity, development of individual identity, ability to remember past and cognize the future while retaining present awareness. This is the density where human beings emerge. It is a vibration that creates the illusion of separation and thus a challenge toward awakening. Presently humanity is going thru a transition period into 4th dnesity reality which can account for the many rapid changes the human race is undergoing. This is the frequency that expresses the most separation from the Whole. It is from here that many lessons about integration are learned. This is the most intense of all levels in its cultivation of growth with the Self. Cetaceans (dolphins and whales) presently exist simultaneously in 3rd and 4th densities and are transiting out of 3rd along with humanity.

2nd Density
Awareness as a line, biological matter, development of species identity. The consciousness expressed by 2nd density vibration does not possess self-awareness (or ego). Most species within the plant and animal kingdoms exist here, however their placement in density depends upon many additional factors, including the presence of absence of ego.

1st Density
Awareness as a point, physical matter. This frequency level is the most basic. It provides the matter and energy for the creation of atoms and molecules. The basic life forms of mineral and water, for example, are all operating from 1st density. Humans possess this frequency within themselves as well. It makes up the basic genetic codes.

Terminology:
Density: Density denotes a vibrational frequency and not a location, which the term "dimension" implies. The density structure of this reality is primarily expressed in seven levels, though each level has sub-levels within it. The density scale is a model used to communicate one's perception of orientation in relation to other realities.

Dimension: Dimension refers to one's location in space/time rather then a person's vibrational frequency (density). Webster defines "dimension" as "Magnitude measured in a particular direction, specifically length, breadth, thickness or time." There are an infinite number of dimensions existing with a given density or vibrational frequency.

Frequency: Matter is vibrating energy. Different vibrationary rates denote the properties. Frequency is the rate at which molecules or consciousness vibrate.

Prism of Lyra: A prism is a transparent body with a triangular base used to polarize or decompose light or energy into its spectrum. The prism of Lyra is the archetypal idea of the entrance of consciousness into this reality. For Earth's galactic family the entrance point exists within the Lyran system. As consciousness/energy emerged, it fragmented into seven density frequencies, much as a prism would fragment light in seven colors.

These days, it's great to learn that humanity is still evolving, 'cause if this was it, we're in deep shit. Shout outs to Teddy! on that one.

Ever wonder why in the evolutionary chart, there was always a big jump from 'monkey' to 'less-monkey'? It was always a big jump. Really not that gradual. Where are the in-betweens? If humans evolved in such a manner and monkeys and apes still exist, why aren't there ape-like people around now? You'd think the cycle would just continue and continue. You'd think you'd see almost-humans walking around, but we don't. It's just us, and them. No in-betweens. This suggests that human evolution is affected by a bigger cycle. A cycle that creates this big jump from evolutionary generation to generation. What is this cycle?

Our evolution has nothing to do with apes. Rather, our DNA, universal and galactic cycles, light, and certain frequency vibrations that affect it. In order to understand how this works, you'd have to know a few basics about each. On this blog entry, I will write about DNA 'cause this is going to extend into a very long entry if I don't separate them. So, bare with me here. It's well-worth the read (and wait). 3. DNA responds to focused intention. For example, the Placebo Effect; when you think and believe something hard enough that it becomes reality or when a patient is cured by expecting or believing to be cured. There can also be negative results to such an effect, like when a doctor tells a patient "You only have 2 months to live", and having inflicted the patient with such a thought, they die 'on time'. This reminds me of the tribal energy that directly affects you. Like when your parents say "You're gonna' get diabetes 'cause your father has diabetes". Thanks...

Remember a little thingcalled the space-time continuum? Well what if the time part of the equation was literally running out? New evidence is suggesting that time is slowly disappearing from our universe, and will one day vanish completely. This radical new theory may explain a cosmological mystery that has baffled scientists for years.

Scientists previously have measured the light from distant exploding stars to show that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. They assumed that these supernovae are spreading apart faster as the universe ages. Physicists also assumed that a kind of anti-gravitational force must be driving the galaxies apart, and started to call this unidentified force "dark energy".

However, to this day no one actually knows what dark energy is, or where it comes from. Professor Jose Senovilla, and his colleagues at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain, have proposed a mind-bending alternative. They propose that there is no such thing as dark energy at all, and we’re looking at things backwards. Senovilla proposes that we have been fooled into thinking the expansion of the universe is accelerating, when in reality, time itself is slowing down. At an everyday level, the change would not be perceptible. However, it would be obvious from cosmic scale measurements tracking the course of the universe over billions of years. The change would be infinitesimally slow from a human perspective, but in terms of the vast perspective of cosmology, the study of ancient light from suns that shone billions of years ago, it could easily be measured

The team's proposal, which will be published in the journal Physical Review D, dismisses dark energy as fiction. Instead, Prof Senovilla says, the appearance of acceleration is caused by time itself gradually slowing down, like a clock with a run-down battery.

“We do not say that the expansion of the universe itself is an illusion," he explains. "What we say it may be an illusion is the acceleration of this expansion - that is, the possibility that the expansion is, and has been, increasing its rate."

If time gradually slows "but we naively kept using our equations to derive the changes of the expansion with respect of 'a standard flow of time', then the simple models that we have constructed in our paper show that an "effective accelerated rate of the expansion" takes place."

Currently, astronomers are able to discern the expansion speed of the universe using the so-called "red shift" technique. This technique relies on the understanding that stars moving away appear redder in color than ones moving towards us. Scientists look for supernovae of certain types that provide a sort of benchmark. However, the accuracy of these measurements depends on time remaining invariable throughout the universe. If time is slowing down, according to this new theory, our solitary time dimension is slowly turning into a new space dimension. Therefore the far-distant, ancient stars seen by cosmologists would from our perspective, look as though they were accelerating.

"Our calculations show that we would think that the expansion of the universe is accelerating," says Prof Senovilla. The theory bases it’s idea on one particular variant of superstring theory, in which our universe is confined to the surface of a membrane, or brane, floating in a higher-dimensional space, known as the "bulk". In billions of years, time would cease to be time altogether.

"Then everything will be frozen, like a snapshot of one instant, forever," Senovilla told New Scientist magazine. "Our planet will be long gone by then."

Though radical and in many way unprecedented, these ideas are not without support. Gary Gibbons, a cosmologist at Cambridge University, say the concept has merit. "We believe that time emerged during the Big Bang, and if time can emerge, it can also disappear - that's just the reverse effect."

The Spanish Inquisition led to the torture and execution of countless individuals. This dark spot in human history occurred around 1492, the year Christopher Columbus joined the list of people who had "discovered" what came to be called the New World. This final "discovery" of the Americas led to the decimation of the native population due to diseases unknown to their immune systems and, later, to the "loving" efforts of some of the new inhabitants to convert these "savages" to Christianity. In many cases the natives were, literally, "loved" to death, sometimes even killed after converting and being baptized into the "kind and loving" religion.

In Bosnia, tensions persist between Serbs and Croats, part of a conflict that goes back to before the first World War. Their most recent hostilities have led to mass graves reminiscent of the Nazis' treatment of Jews, homosexuals, and Catholics during the second World War. Gays and lesbians beaten, abortion doctors shot, the corpses of children in the smoking remains of the Branch Davidian compound, all symptoms of the plague that has ravaged the human race since before recorded history: religion. Or, should I say, the wrong sort of religion -- intolerant fundamentalism.

Throughout the course of history, men and women who have dared raise a voice of reason, speak of peace, have been given no tolerance and even less respect. To admit one's disbelief is to risk death (or, in more "civilized" nations such as ours, rejection by "decent folks"). An honest atheist or agnostic is eyed with contempt, while hypocrites such as Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker are forgiven their many transgressions and maintain a loyal following. Unitarian Universalists are considered a joke by many fundamentalists.

Take Dr. Madalyn Murray O' Hair, for example. This atheism activist has vanished after years of death threats from "Good Christians" who wanted her dead because of her involvement in the fight against religious indoctrination in public schools. All of this despite her living in a country whose Constitution guarantees free speech and (in theory, although you wouldn't think so from Mississippi's judges or Tennessee's state legislature) guarantees that the government will not take one side or the other in the matter of religion.

On the other hand, Pat Buchanan can be considered a viable contender for the Presidency. Part of his appeal is his perceived commitment to his religious faith (you can't get much more traditional and conservative than the orthodox Roman Catholic doctrine, though most Catholics I know are embarrassed by the man and take some of the church's official stances with a grain of salt). Never mind the opinion columns Buchanan has written denying the Holocaust ever took place -- what matters is that he's a Man of God, note the capital letters.

What's as twisted or worse is the fact that the zealots wage war not only on "heretics" and "infidels" but also on each other. Viewed from an objective standpoint, with no stakes in the outcome, these "holy wars" resemble nothing more than a playground full of children arguing over whose imaginary friend is the most powerful.

This sort of religion brings out the worst, not the best, in human nature. Instead of putting us "closer to God," this sort of religion reduces us to something less than admirable. Here are a few examples of what I mean:
Appealing to base instincts. Homophobia, racism, and sexism have all been given the divine seal of approval by fundamentalist Christianity. Prejudice is approved; discrimination is promised a heavenly reward. Hate is, bluntly, a sacrament in many Christian sects. Revenge fantasies are fueled by the teaching that the redeemed will one day listen gleefully to the screams of souls damned to eternal torment -- the souls not only of murderers and rapists but also homosexuals or members of other religions (even other denominations of Christianity).
Discouraging achievement and fostering dependency. "He who hesitates is lost," goes the proverb. I wonder how many opportunities have slipped past people who were too busy waiting for divine intervention? Many are the problems allowed to spread because the faithful have opted to pass the buck to God. With religion offering the prayer exit, why do anything? You really don't even have to be moral -- you can do as you please during the week, then confess on the Sabbath and have a clean slate.
Suppression of knowledge. The Big Bang happened. Several million years later, evolution started to happen (and still is). Period. But fundamentalists are still trying to substitute the Genesis creation myth for real science. In the past, religion just as firmly insisted that the earth (which was flat) was the center of the universe, with the sun, planets, and stars all orbiting it (this coming from the same self-centered yahoos who declared us the pinnacle of all creation).
Needless suffering of the ill. I list this separately from the Creation Science idiocy because while those people's ideas are alternately amusing and frustrating, this is a matter of the (pardon the quite unintentional pun) gravest import. Jehovah's Witnesses are prohibited by their religion from receiving blood transfusions; Christian Scientists can't receive any medical care at all (believing that since we don't really exist, our ailments are all an illusion). When you add in the people who've died after handling snakes or falling on coals or trusting faith healers instead of doctors, you'd have enough dead bodies to declare religion a plague. It would be easy to laugh at these people and say "They asked for it -- at least it's culling the weak from the gene pool," except these damned fools invariably end up murdering their children through their negligence.

I'm not so naive as to say none of these problems would be here if we were, as a race, cured overnight of the mental illness known as fundamentalism. The facts, however, suggest that their religion has heaped many more problems on us than it has solved.

Critics of Political Correctness cite ethnocentric revisions of history as absurdity running amok. Claims that, for example, Columbus was actually an African prince whose name and identity were changed by white historians who wanted to steal his glory for their own race, are called bullshit -- and rightly so!

I would challenge us to also look at who we Americans really are -- not the result of a divinely ordained Manifest Destiny, but rather that of greed hidden behind the words "God's Will" and the continued subjugation of the people who were here first. Christians are not the practitioners of the One True Religion that has by the Grace of God slowly overcome all the false ones, but rather the legacy of centuries of wars fought over the silliest bone of contention imaginable. Think about in terms of fruit.

Fruit carries seeds. It also, when eaten, has various vitamins and minerals that are good for you. You can't really say that an apple is more a real fruit than an orange is, can you? No. But people make the claim that their religion, which teaches love and humility and so on, is more valid than someone else's religion which teaches all the same things. It's silly. It's Liliputian.

There's hope. We each hold the cure in our hearts, if we're brave enough to use it. And the more people who do cure themselves of this oppressive sort of religion, the less the sick will have the power to reinfect the healthy ones through peer pressure. We can also choose not to infect our children with this illness -- religious fanatics are made, not born. We're all atheists until someone else teaches us religion, good or bad.

Do I feel all religion is an illness? No, I don't. But I believe that an Atheist can be as well-adjusted as a Christian, can live as happy and meaningful a life. And if there's a God up there, I believe that He or She or It will judge us based on our actions and the content of our character, not on whether we could see behind the curtain. If there's a Heaven, I believe we'll see Ghandi and Jesus s itting side-by-side, along with some Atheists saying "I was as surprised as you were."

Some religions help people. And the community that develops in a church can be of great aid to people. That's why I'm a Unitarian Universalist; they'll accept anyone with an open heart and mind, theistic or not.

On average, we each get about 70 years of life; that's one area in which the Bible is more or less accurate. It's time to quit feeding the megachurches and start feeding the hungry; it's time to stop praying without ceasing and start acting; and it's time to stop seeing people as enemies if the only problem lies in their religion, or sexual orientation, or race.

Spirituality is Natural

In the beginning,
Creator put four peoples on the earth.
He gave them each a continent and way to live.
He placed the whites in Europe and gave them a way to pray.
He placed the blacks in Africa and gave them a way to pray.
He placed the reds in the Americas and gave them a way to pray.
He placed the yellows in Asia and gave them a way to pray.
He gave them animals and plants to help them live.
And He gave them all Free Will.

Over the years, some of the people used their free will and chose to become different. Some became too busy to pray and did not want to live the way Creator had given them. Some used their free will and chose to pray and live in a different way. Many of them traveled beyond their given home.
And now we have many new peoples and many ways to pray and live. From the different cultures that evolved in the different lands come different religions and different forms of spirituality. And they seem so different. And we wonder why, if there is one God, are there so many religions?
For many people spirituality is troublesome. They don't know what to believe in because there are so many different beliefs. They don't know what religion is best because there are so many. And many people who want to turn their lives around struggle with spiritual concepts because they are have an aversion to religion.
Many who enter the circle of recovery from addiction and/or alcoholism struggle with the spiritual aspects of the 12-step program.
Let me offer this concept: Spirituality is not the same as religion. Religion is not spirituality. You do not have to be religious to be spiritual. And being religious does not make you spiritual. Going to church every Sunday and donating a portion of your income does not make you spiritual. It makes you a religious follower.. not necessarily a religious person.
How can that be? Let me offer some ideas that religion and spirituality are two completely different and separate things.
Spirituality is natural. We all have it, whether we know it or practice it, it is in us. And it really is a rather simple thing. We want to be happy and live a "good" life. To have friends and be social and have a special someone. We want to be "good" and do the right things. But we have some very deep questions. What happens when I die? Is there a God and who is it? How should I pray to this God? How did we get here?
These questions are usually overwhelming for many people. And human nature is to turn to an authority to tell us the answers. When we have a medical question, we turn to a doctor. When we have a legal question, we turn to a lawyer. And that is the purpose of and the origin of religion.
Religion is a man made, culture based doctrine that guides it's people in the practice of spirituality. Religion is a good thing that in some cases has had bad consequences on some individuals spirituality. Not because religion is bad, but because it was applied in a bad way.
Because religion is man made and culture based, it naturally has some of the rules and taboos of that particular culture built into it. Unfortunately for some, many cultures have chosen to use the fear of God to enforce the man made rules of that culture.
And some wonder, how can there be a loving God when so many terrible things happen to some people. Creator gave us free will. No one, no thing, can totally control that which has free will. Although Creator has a great plan for us to be happy, healthy, and good people, He has no control over it. If we chose to follow this great plan, our lives can be wonderful. But there can be sadness or pain or misfortune even if we follow a good spiritual plan. Because that is the flow of life. Things happen in life that are not always good. Many people chose not to follow a spiritual path and do things as they wish. And while those people walk through life, they cause an imbalance that affects the web of life and all living things.
It does not mean they are bad people. Though some of them choose to be bad and know better, many don't know any better. Many don't even have a true understanding of goodness or spirituality. Many were never taught. Many had reason to doubt what they were taught. Because these non-spiritual people go through life doing things of their free will, they sometimes produce situations and conditions that have a negative impact on our lives. It is not our Higher Power bringing bad things to us. It is the free will of a person who has passed through our life. Some ask, "if God is good, why do good people die tragic or sudden deaths?" When a person dies, an autopsy is done to confirm the cause of death. No inquiry is done as to what may have killed them in 3 days or months from now. Could they have cancer? not determined. Could they have gotten AIDS from a transfusion? Not determined. Do they have an aneurysm that may burst in a few weeks? Not determined. When a good person dies suddenly and/or tragically, we can only have faith and comfort that they were being compassionately protected from a long period of pain and physical/emotional suffering.

You can be a spiritual person without being religious. You only need to have faith that there is some Higher Power out there. Pray to that Higher Power for guidance and strength, faith and protection, help and wisdom. You need not pray in some specific way. Only quiet your thoughts and focus on praying. Maybe you will think your prayers. Maybe you will say them out loud. Maybe you will read them from a book or collection. Try to be humble and focus more on prayer for goodness and for other people. Don't pray for great things for your self.. only for guidance in living in a good way. Pray for yourself for protection and strength.

Some will have trouble having faith in something they don't understand. How do you pray and have faith in something you don't understand? Ironically you do this every day. We have faith that when we flip a switch, electricity will light up our darkness. We have faith that when we bring our food home and put it in the refrigerator, electricity will keep safe from spoiling. Yet our best scientists don't really know what electricity is. There is an Electrical Theory that suggests an electron is jumping from atom to atom. No one has ever seen it happen. Yet, without question, without a second thought, we have faith in the great power of electricity, which is explained by a theory, to make our lives better. Why does it need to be so difficult to have faith in the great power of spirituality to make our lives better?

Following the Path During These Uncertain Times

It is imperative during these fast changing times for people to focus on the Spiritual Path. Most people will get caught up with the flow of uncertainty and chaos. It is important not to pay too much attention to trivial matters, it is a distraction to your Spiritual Enlightenment; instead, become immersed in the process of centering and stabilizing your own Inner Being.

When one grounds themselves in “the Known”, a person who was once believing moves into Knowing. This transition causes one to be internally organized and is less likely to fall apart in times of crisis. One must learn to distinguish falsehood and delusion from those things that are really relevant. In this method, one will overcome adversity and will be more capable of making intuitive decisions. This will help the individual recover from shock and be able to function internally while helping others.

We all wonder why we were born during these times of political upheaval and during the threat of cosmic and natural changes. Some people were born as the “Best of Humanity”, a sort of crème of the (spiritual) crop. In these individuals will lie the “awakers” of humanity. Those who remain poised and have instilled personal wisdom will be the ones who direct those who are lost into doing the conscious right thing.

It is important to preserve knowledge and wisdom, as it is to save our natural resources. Most people today will betray Spirituality out of fear and panic. It is important to be a part of this world, but not be in its involvement, to be swept away with its political influence is to be hypnotically seduced by conditional death. We must all strive to learn as much information about everything that affects our being. The internal is much more important as the external factors.

We all have the potential to reach a higher Spiritual level, which will transcend all that oppose us. It is Enlightenment that will help us have victory over ourselves and if each one of us takes responsibility for that alone, we as a whole cannot be conquered or dominated by any outside political or forcible “power“. If you take one highly organized mind and pit it against many conditioned enemies, One self-realized individual can outwit the many.
Solidify your mental state and unifying yourself holistically can assure your survival though any crisis. Pay attention to detail and not to the clutter outside yourself. Those who know the present well are sure to keep from falling victim to the future or the delusions of the past. Do not worry if others are not listening to your warnings, stay focused and intuitive, in this manner you will make fewer mistakes than most.

Your transcendence in this life is crucial to the existence of all that is good and all that is good for you. May you always act from the Center of your heart and may you wield your greatest sword to the champion the Wisdom of Truth with Virtue, for you represent the best that humanity has to offer.

IQ and EQ give way to spiritual intelligence,
the ultimate intelligence that can add
value and meaning to your life

For long, the world gave much importance to Intelligence Quotient. "My son has an IQ of 210!" the proud mother would gush. "He's going to be a scientist." This attitude is a legacy of the early 20th century when psychologists devised tests to measure intelligence. These tests primarily measured intellectual or rational intelligence (used to solve logical problems). The higher the figure, the belief went, the greater the intelligence.

In mid-1990s, Daniel Goleman revealed findings in neuroscience and psychology that stressed the importance of Emotional Quotient (EQ). This makes us aware of our feelings and that of others. It gives empathy, motivation, compassion and an ability to respond skillfully to pleasure and pain. Goleman argued that EQ was a basic requirement for the use of IQ. If the areas of our brain that feel are damaged, our ability to think effectively is diminished.

Last year, however, authors Dana Zohar and Ian Marshall introduced a new dimension to human intelligence. Spiritual Quotient (or SQ) is the ultimate intelligence, they claim. This is the intelligence used to solve problems of meaning and value. "Is my job giving me the fulfillment I seek?" "Am I relating to the people in my life in a way that contributes to their happiness and mine?" Answers to these questions determine whether we will find happiness or not. IQ and EQ are inadequate in such issues.

"Spiritual intelligence," explains Ram Mohan, a Vedanta teacher, "is about the growth of a human being. It is about moving on in life. About having a direction in life and being able to heal ourselves of all the resentment we carry. It is thinking of ourselves as an expression of a higher reality. It is also about how we look at the resources available to us. We realize that nature is not meant to be exploited. Ultimately, we discover freedom from our sense of limitation as human beings and attain moksha. "

Anand Tendolkar, a workshop leader, says: "For me spiritual intelligence is about pondering over my life's purpose. Just being in touch with that question is fulfilling. Finally I realize that there is an immensity to me. As I move along the path, deeper levels of myself get unfolded, leading to fulfillment. "

Humans are essentially spiritual beings, evolved to ask fundamental questions. "Who am I?" "Where am I going?" "What do others mean to me?" It is an ability to answer questions like these that lead people to personal growth workshops. Spiritual intelligence motivates people to balance their work schedules to spend time with the family. Or an executive with a high SQ might look beyond profit margins and devote time for voluntary work with orphans. Spiritual intelligence also addresses the need to place one's life in a shared context of value.

The transformative power of SQ distinguishes it from IQ and EQ. IQ primarily solves logical problems. EQ allows us to judge the situation we are in and behave appropriately. SQ allows us to ask if we want to be in that situation in the first place. It might motivate us to create a new one. SQ has little connection to formal religion. Atheists and humanists may have high SQ while someone actively religious may not.

"The awakening of our spiritual intelligence may be a time of great joy and meaning," says Anita Pandey, who frequents personal growth programs. "Suddenly I had a feeling of being in control. Earlier things happened to me. Now I am more aware. Also, I have actually started living those values I had heard about—like acceptance and unconditional love. "

In their book Spiritual Intelligence—The Ultimate Intelligence, Zohar and Marshall discuss the scientific evidence for SQ. In the 1990s, research by neuropsychologist Michael Persinger and neurologist V.S. Ramachandran at the University of California led to an identification of a 'God-spot' in the human brain. This area is located among neural connections in the temporal lobes of the brain. During scans with positron emission topography, these neural areas light up whenever research subjects are exposed to discussion of spiritual topics. Of course, this is culture specific, with Westerners responding to ideas of 'God' and Buddhists and Hindus responding to certain symbols. While the God-spot does not prove the existence of 'God', it does indicate that the brain is programmed to ask ultimate questions.

We use spiritual intelligence to transform ourselves and others, heal relationship, cope with grief, and move beyond conditioned habits of the past. To develop high SQ, each person needs to approach the task according to his/her personality.

J.L. Holland divided people into six personality types (take the test) and devised tests to determine one's type, or the mix.

On each personality test we would have scored between zero and 12. This indicates the strength of our interest in that sector of life. An average adult will score 6 or more on perhaps three of the personality types. For example, we might score highest (say nine) on the artistic type, but score seven on the enterprising type and six on the investigative. Naturally, we must allow for some degree of overlap between the different types.

Once we know our personality type, we can better choose our particular path to higher SQ.

CONVENTIONAL TYPE: THE PATH OF DUTY
We follow this path by serving the community. This is done by realizing our life's purpose and following it with full commitment. We have the interest of humanity in mind and pursue what we truly love for others' sake. Many of us may want to associate ourselves with a specific organization to fulfill this ambition.

Whatever outlet we choose, we must avoid two common mistakes that people on this path make. Avoid becoming narcissistic. It is an easy trap to slip into. At one point we may withdraw completely from relationships and focus only on ourselves. Behaviors associated with such self-absorption include lying in bed late, heavy drinking and smoking and overindulgence in food and sex. A narcissist must address his problems adequately through therapy or spiritual practices before he can progress on the path of duty.

Avoid extreme identification with your group and its uncritical championing. We must realize that there is a place in the world for groups whose values differ from ours.

SOCIAL TYPE: THE PATH OF NURTURING
This path is about loving, nurturing and protecting. It corresponds to the Mother Goddess. People on this path include parents, teachers, nurses and therapists, who reach out to others with acceptance and compassion and provide them with the space to grow and find themselves.

To pursue this path, the right attitude is crucial. "How can I serve others when I myself need so much from others?" explains Ram Mohan. "For example, I live in a city where many of the things I consume—like food and medicines—are not produced. I need the efforts of so many people to make life possible. I realize that I am only making my talents available to people in return for things I am receiving. When I look at it this way, it helps me face the many disappointments I may encounter. "

It is important to be mindful of the way we help others. A distorted way is to succumb to the shadow aspect of love and nurturing, which is hatred and revenge. Love can be patient and kind but when we do not truly love ourselves, our love for others becomes bitter and destructive.

Another common failing is to suffocate the person we seek to love. We have to give the person space to grow. To pursue this path effectively, we must be receptive and listen to the other person. We must be willing to reveal ourselves to others. A risk-free approach is unlikely to succeed.

When we meet great teachers, one striking thing about them is their ability to truly be there for another person. Such attention and empathy is rare. To pursue this path, we must model ourselves on a teacher or mentor who has already clarified his life before reaching out to others.

INVESTIGATIVE TYPE: THE PATH OF KNOWLEDGE
The path of knowledge covers a broad range of experience. It could be something as simple as solving everyday problems. Or, as vast as pursuing a spiritual path. Most people on this path are scholars, scientists or those who have an intense love of learning.

How we pursue this path can have profound benefits for mankind. One can engage in research that solves problems plaguing mankind. For instance, a scientist could devise a cheap fuel that is eco-friendly.

While the potential of this path is limitless, we must clarify our intention in pursuing it.

We must realize that all things are interconnected and we cannot apply our knowledge to one area of experience without having profound effects on others.

Nandan Savnal, Mumbai-based NLP trainer, alerts us to another crucial aspect: "One of the most important challenges on this path," he says, "is whether you are going to be honest with yourself and question things. When you investigate matters, your value system will be challenged. You will have to press on regardless. You cannot afford to operate from your comfort zone. "

Another spiritually unintelligent way to walk this path that must be avoided is using our talent to support morally reprehensible work. Like the historians who deny the Holocaust or those who devote themselves to spreading racist propaganda.

ARTISTIC TYPE: THE PATH OF PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION
Writers, artists, musicians and their like constitute only 10 to 15 percent of the population. But most of us walk this path to some extent. The task facing such people is personal and transpersonal integration. We must explore the depths of ourselves and weld the disparate fragments into a harmonious whole.

The path most closely associated with the brain's God-spot activity, people here are most open to extreme emotions and eccentric behavior. For this reason, artists are most often thought of as society's healers (or shamans). They journey into the unknown and return with a fragment that can heal us all. This is the process that has created some of the world's greatest art.

Cultures throughout history have treated the artist as someone blessed with special vision. Indeed, their capacity to create societal awareness is profound. Consider the great saint-poets like Rumi and Kabir.

For Savnal, engaging with great stories from different traditions has been therapeutic. "When I was young," he says, "I was fascinated by the story about Bhima in which he has a wrestling match and jumps up with the strength of ten elephants every time he is knocked down. With time, I realized that the suggestion is to bounce back with greater energy every time you face a setback. "

We must watch out for certain traps, however. One is becoming an aesthete—people concerned with form only who produce art purely for sensual gratification. Their goal is acquisition and display. Another common failing is to be a compulsive, permanent rebel. Such people will resist order and imagination in their art, fight committed relationships and even miss deadlines.

The extremes described above are a turning away from conflict. But when an artist embraces his conflict he can claim his spiritual intelligence and produce art of lasting value.

REALISTIC PERSON: THE PATH OF BROTHERHOOD
Priti Sen is a caring middle-aged mother and a devoted wife. Her husband is a rich, influential businessman. She loves socializing and also does charity work. Seemingly strong, cheerful and in charge of her life, the truth about her is not immediately obvious. Her teenage son lost both his legs in an accident. While her shattered husband and other children cry almost daily, Priti is quiet, sensible and calm. She busies herself caring for her son, building a new life for him. Her ability to accept adversity is a source of strength to her family.

Priti exemplifies the attributes of the realistic type. Practical, no-nonsense, uncomfortable with overt feelings, these people personify the virtues of the hero. Their mission in life is to pursue the path of brotherhood and justice. It is to see a connection between themselves and all other beings. A Buddhist sutra describes this: "In the heaven of Indra (the king of the gods in the Hindu pantheon) there is a network of pearls so arranged that if you look at one, you see all the others reflected in it. In the same way, each object in the world is not merely itself, but involves every other object and in fact is every other object. "

Those who have internalized this precept form organizations that bring justice into the world. They decide how rights and goods are distributed for the benefit of all. This involves respect for the other's point of view. When such people work together in NGOs or spiritual organizations, they grow toward a deeper understanding that all people are players in a larger pattern.

ENTERPRISING TYPE: THE PATH OF SERVANT-LEADERSHIP
All human groupings, families, tribes and societies need leaders to impart vision, motivation and purpose. Effective leaders must be confident, outgoing and comfortable with power. Truly great leaders are servant-leaders-those who serve humanity by creating new ways for people to relate to each other. They put the good of society above their own good and take society in new directions. Buddha and Jesus were such leaders. In India, we had Emperor Ashoka who, after his brutal conquest of Kalinga, converted to Buddhism and embraced nonviolence. And environmentalists like Sunderlal Bahuguna and Medha Patkar have forced people to look afresh at ecological issues.

It must be stressed, however, that a servant-leader should have a great deal of inner clarity. A spiritually unintelligent way to walk this path is to use one's power to exploit others. Another mistake is to focus purely on one's petty needs and ignore the interests of the people we serve.

"The challenge is to have a vision," says Ram Mohan. "After that, the task is to build trust and empower people to give their best." It is essential to do this ethically. In a corrupt society, there will be pressures on us and we must know how to handle it. To retain his balance, a leader would do well to think about trusteeship. Gandhi declared that when an individual has more than his proportionate share of wealth, he should become a trustee of that portion on God's behalf.

It is to this noble vision of leadership that one must aspire. In an increasingly fragmented world, we need leaders of vision who can bring hope and purpose into the lives of others, someone who sees all of humanity as God's people. As Jesus said: "Not my will, Lord, but thine. "

The outline of the above paths is meant to help those who wish to develop their spiritual intelligence and gain a better awareness of themselves. To this awareness must be added the invaluable ingredient of hard work. But thinking of ourselves as spiritual beings is a useful start. Once we do this, we can enlarge our idea of intelligence to include this greater vision of ourselves.

When we commit ourselves to the chosen paths in this light, we begin to imbue greater meaning, value and fulfillment in our lives.

4. The ability to be inspired by a vision
5. An ability to see connections between diverse things (thinking holistically)
6. A desire and capacity to cause as little harm as possible
7. A tendency to probe and ask fundamental questions
8. An ability to work against convention

SEVEN TYPES OF INTELLIGENCE
With the popularity of EQ and SQ in recent years, it might be worth remembering an older way of conceiving intelligence, which helps cultivate individual aspects of ourselves. This is Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligence. In 1984, in his book 'Frames of Mind—The Theory of Multiple Intelligences', he offered a critique of IQ testing and suggested that what we possess is not one 'intelligence' but seven different intelligences. These are: logical-mathematical, linguistic, musical, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal and spatial.

Intelligence Type and How To Develop It:

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
This is what we use to manipulate concepts and arrange them into meaningful patterns. We develop this by constantly confronting objects, assessing them and reordering them.

1. Learn a computer language
2. Work on logic puzzles
3. Identify scientific principles around the house: pumps, bulbs etc.

Linguistic Intelligence
This is the intelligence that gives us sensitivity to language, an ability to absorb and manipulate it skillfully and to be aware of shades of meaning.

1. Take a writing class
2. Record yourself speaking into a tape-recorder
3. Memorize passages of poetry

Musical Intelligence
This gives us our sensitivity to sound, our ability to arrange sounds into patterns pleasing to the human ear.

1. Sing in the shower
2. Memorize tunes
3. Spend time listening to music everyday

Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence
This is the intelligence that gives us the ability to perform tasks of great discipline and commitment with our bodies. Dancers, athletes and martial arts practitioners have this.

1. Take up martial arts like tai chi or karate
2. Take up a sport
3. Learn a craft such as woodworking or crochet

Interpersonal Intelligence
This gives us the ability to relate skillfully with others, to be aware of our feelings and the other person's, to see where the other person is coming from.

1. Decide to meet one new person a week and stay in touch.
2. Join an NGO
3. Spend 15 minutes a day listening actively to a friend.

Intrapersonal Intelligence
This is about becoming truly aware of ourselves and having the ability to constantly purify ourselves in order to access higher levels of joy and power.

1. Do a vipassana course and make it a part of your life
2. Spend time with yourself everyday, just being quiet
3. Read biographies of people with powerful personalities

Spatial Intelligence
This form of intelligence calls upon our ability to create a mental image. It gives us the capacity to perceive the visual world accurately and to perform transformations and modifications upon our initial perceptions. Artists, designers and architects have this intelligence.

1. Take classes in painting, sculpture or photography
2. Buy a graphics software program and create designs on the computer
3. Watch films with attention to lighting, camera angles, color and other aspects of cinema.

Ayurveda; A great Indian Ancient Healing that is 100% true!

A little over a week ago I have looked into Ayurveda. I was astounded how it was true about me. All of my life ailments and habits until now have been dead on right in Ayurveda. The health problems I have always experienced and the habits that led to it. All perfectly accurate. I have even tested them and they worked. My health has improved and other places that has been the way it has my entire life, perfectly described by Ayurveda! Its amazing. I was very impressed.

It all makes sense how my own lifestyles would get me to this. I did everything I could to aggravate Vata. I never kept a routine eating habit. It was always random. I didn't know that what I would do until recently, made is worse. I would run outside not wearing much, listening to loud music, all in the cold. All 3 of those increase Vata. I didn't sleep at the same time every day. Sometimes I just had insomnia. There was even a habit that I did, that I will not mention here, that aggravated Vata a lot. It was incredible when I read that it aggravates it, that it fit in perfectly. It explained everything. I had surgery on the lower abdomen, which aggravates Vata too. I would even stress myself out because I believe of karmic reasons. I was born with a subconscious belief that I have to sacrifice myself in order to make other people happy so that they can be my friends or sacrifice myself for a goal I believe will make me happier. I would overexert myself. This is part of that stress. I do think I was born deficient too. I know as a baby I had some problems. I don't know about that. But I do know that my lifestyles did aggravate Vata.

Ayurveda is definitely true as it describes me perfectly. Too perfectly to be incorrect. My whole life I had anxiety problems around people. In my teens when certain evens made it worse, I got cold and sweaty hands and feet. I always had a weak underweight body. I had pale skin. I couldn't sit still. I experienced rare and difficult bowel movements. I used the bathroom only 3 times a week! I was always sensitive to cold. And I always preferred warmth over cold. A person shouldn't have any significant preferences, but for me to want warm like that, it must've meant something. Now I get little sweaty but no cold. Even if there is moderate to high sweating, I don't get cold anymore. My vision became worse, and not because of anything like the computer or books. It just became worse so suddenly and sometimes better suddenly as well. My voice became hoarse, just another one of the symptoms. My voice was different and unnatural most of the time. My tongue was drier and coated. I could sit still less and was either doing something moment to moment or sitting resting my tire. Vata are those who move around a lot but have poor stamina. A lot of the time I just felt tired. I had nightmares. I was mentally confused. Emotionally empty. I was exhausted but could never settle down. More of that is actually due to my excess in Kapha as well. My Kapha is also exercise, not as much but almost, as is Vata. That had more to do with my tire, difficulty getting out of bed, confusion, and odd overweight in some places of my body making it strange to the rest of my body that is skinny like Vata. It was because I had Vata which is undernourished and Kapha which is overweight. I got my Kapha because of eating too many sweets. They are "empty calories" I read on an Internet article for a Vata-Kapha person. It makes me both undernourished, and overweight, at least in some parts of my body. But I still look weak. I had wondered this my whole life. Now it finally makes perfect sense as I also have some other characteristics of the Kapha Dosha. Sweets agravate Kapha as well. Other characteristic I have from Kapha is my oily hair, which is Kapha. But my hair has certainly became drier all over my body when I put a bigger hurt on my body. That is Vata's place.

Exercises that should've helped me, actually helped me. I meditated, which calms Vata, and I noticed that my anxiety that I felt sometimes, especially around people, disappeared. Drinking hot water, not being in the cold, being in the warmth, walking, and eating certain fruits and foods have improved my health. Before it was just random. But I don't believe there are coincidences. I had just stopped being in the cold and doing all sorts of stuff and I began improving. It was amazing. When I stopped being in the cold and doing anything that aggravates my Vata Dosha, I stopped having cold hands. Before, my hands and feed would be sweating and be cold, even in the warm temperature. My vision improved too. My body sometimes felt more meatier, straighter, and looked bigger. My diet has increased by 50%-100%. My dry coated tongue improved. Amazing. In a few minutes of doing the right thing, my tongue looked and felt better. I had less coating and more saliva on it. Before I would drink a lot of water and nothing happened. Just as a doctor had said. Now I have more effective methods that do work.

What I can do to improve it is eat hot, oily, heavy, moist, sweet, sour, and/or salty foods. I can keep a daily routine especially for sleep, showers, and eat. Drink a glass of hot water in the morning and throughout the day. I came with the idea of drinking glasses of water throughout the day. Well later someone told me that drinking a cup of hot water in the morning is cleansing to the bowels. Exactly what Vata affects, when imbalanced. Interesting. Drinking hot water throughout the day makes me feel better immediately. I never seen something like this done before. It was later that I learned online that drinking hot water throughout the day is good for calming Vata. Wear heavy clothing. Listen to soothing and easy listening music rather than loud kind of music. Walk but no jogging and dress warm and heavy. Prevent wind outside. Eat fruits like bananas, mandarins, oranges and papayas. Stay in the warmth. Oil myself before the shower. Definitely stay away from candy, sodas, and anything that contains the harmful High Fructose Corn Syrup. As I have already said, eating candy aggravates the Kapha, and doesn't particularly pacify Vata. Especially if the candy replaces the food that the Vata person needs. It would just aggravate both Doshas.

There is Conventional Medicine. But the thing with conventional medicine is that it doesn't see the big picture like Ayurveda. It might have bad side-effects and its very expensive. With Ayurveda you are addressing the key problem and healing yourself holistically the right way. I'm not sure if conventional doctors accept it yet or not, but id they do not, I'm sure if medical researchers have done extensive careful study of it, it would've proven to be true. If they had saw it as a system, like the digestive system. If they saw the qualities that affect it and depress it and studied it, they would realize what causes the system to become weaker or stronger. As they know foods, drugs, or habits by themselves have several effects on the body, and not surprisingly of similar nature. They know that sleeping has several effects on you such as feeling worse, being mentally confused, and physically weaker. Just like sleeping, Ayurveda can be proven to be true this way. It sounds ridiculous, but if you think about it, and think about the examples I just gave, it really isn't. It makes sense. It convinced me. It proved to me it was true. There is just too much evidence here that it is. Its like, just a few days ago my mom recommended me to eat Papaya. She said it was the best treament for rare bowel movements. I looked it up and its perfect for Vata! Vata have bowel movement problems. And Papaya is hot, dry, moist, and oily. All the the opposites of Vata. Therefore, it pacifies it. Like it should. Its incredible.

As shown in the figures, most DNA of living things on the earth twists as a "right-hand screw". This is the same direction as a regular wood or metal screw. Many artists will flip a picture of DNA over and reverse the twist. Although left-handed Z-DNA has been demonstrated by X-ray crystallography and scanning tunnel microscopy (STM), it only recently was established that it occurs in vivo (Schwartz et al Science 1999 Jun 11;284(5421):1841-5, New York Times, June 29, 1999).

See the figure to the right, which compares normal B-DNA found in cells to the rare Z-DNA, which is the same molecule twisted the other way. Furthermore, the structure of this left-handed Z-DNA is quite different from a mirror image of B-form DNA. So most of these inverted twist pictures are incorrect. This error has become so pervasive that even well-known scientists, major scientific journals and institutes make it. For several years I was collecting these cases by tossing them into a file. On 1996 February 14, I was stunned and embarrassed that my file had grown enormous, so I created this page to alert people to the problem. The Mutation Process

Dr Berrenda Fox, who has a Doctorate in Physiology and Naturopathy has been studying genetic mutation and explains her findings in a report that came out in March 2002:

Everyone has one double helix of DNA. What we are finding is that there are other helixes that are being formed. In the double helix there are two strands of DNA coiled into a spiral. It is my understanding that we will be developing twelve helixes. During this time, which seems to have started maybe 5 to 20 years ago, we have been mutating. This is the scientific explanation. It is a mutation of our species into something for which the end result is not yet known. The changes are not known publicly, because the scientific community feels it would frighten the population. With a cellular change, you are sometimes going to feel as though you are not here. You may feel exhaustion, because we are literally changing cells and becoming new beings. Like a new baby, you may need lots of rest. Mental confusion and not being able to concentrate on routine tasks may happen as we are being programmed for something larger. Aches and pains throughout the body for which there is no specific cause are common. Many people feel as though they are going crazy. If they go into an orthodox medical office, most likely they will be put on Prozac, because they can’t define what it is. It is difficult for the medical profession because they are not used to dealing with the energy body. Because the chakras are related to our endocrine system, women will go through hormonal changes. There may be crying without knowing why because crying releases hormones. Many women are going through menopause earlier because we are accelerating. Men may be very frustrated with the exhaustion when they are used to being very active. They may feel their feminine side coming out because this is the intuitive side. The emotional therapy that has been coming out in the last 20 to 30 years has been speeded up with new techniques for these changes. We are actually doing a tremendous amount of emotional work in a very short time, which would have taken thousands of years.

It seems like most people who were born before 1940 have not been able to make the shift, but have initiated something into the next generation that gives them the capacity to form another helix within our lifetime. Our immune and endocrine systems are the most evident of these changes. That is one of the reasons I work with research in immunological testing and therapy. Some adults that I have tested actually do have another DNA helix forming. Some are even getting their third. These people are going through a lot of major shifts in their consciousness and physical bodies, because it is all one. In my opinion, the Earth and everyone here is raising its vibration. Many of the children born recently have bodies that are magnetically lighter. Those of us that are older and choose to change have to go through many physical changes.

Here is a list compiled of the symptoms by researcher Susanna Thorpe-Clark for you to chew over during your own personal mutating process:

* Flu-like symptoms - high temperatures, sweating, aching bones and joints, etc.

* Migraine headaches - severe pain that is not relieved with painkillers.

* Occasional diarrhea.

* Occasional runny nose - with sneezing, which lasts 24 hours and is not cold or hay fever.

* Dizziness
* Ringing in the ears
* Heart palpitations
* Feeling the whole body vibrate - especially at night when one is in a relaxed state.

* Intense muscle spasms - plus pain in the body, often the back.

* Tingling - in arms, hands, legs or feet.

* Loss of muscular power - in hands, caused by changes in circulation system.

* Occasional breathing difficulties - and/or noticing stronger or louder breathing when in a relaxed state.

* Immune system changes
* Lymphatic system changes
* Feeling tired - or exhausted from minor exertion.

* Wanting to sleep - longer and more often than normal.

* Toenails and hair growing quicker than normal.

* Bouts of depression for no real reason.

* Delving into the past - and looking at relationships, gaining clarity on personal issues.

* Feeling of a huge purge
* Tension, anxiety and high stress levels - because one feels that something is going on but doesn’t know what it is.

For all these symptoms are just temporary and simply indicate that these physiological changes are occurring.
Some of the recommended relief remedies for the above are:

* Go with the flow, don’t fight it. If you feel tired and exhausted, rest and get plenty of sleep.

* Drink lots of water, for you are detoxifying and dehydrating quicker than usual.

* To relieve emotional tension and stress levels try relaxing herbs like valerian.

* Fenugreek relieves stress on the lymphatic system and helps the detoxification.

* To relieve muscle spasm try mud baths or a hot soak in a bath to which you add a cup of Epsom salts. Do this daily.

Recognize that even if you are having heart palpitations or breathing difficulties, it is the heart chakra or the throat chakra that is unblocking and that the symptoms are temporary. You aren’t dying, just changing! However, don’t just take my word for it. Seek medical guidance if you are unsure. According to Clark, all children under the age of seven have also now completed the change, which synchronizes with the emergence of the crystal children. She believes that all babies born in the past 2 years have all been born with the full set of DNA, but this is open to argument. Dr.Fox believes the easiest way to mutate our DNA is through a virus. Consequently viruses are not necessarily bad. Viruses live only on living tissue.

We are receiving extra help from masters and extraterrestrials, angelic beings, and learning to go inward. Berrenda Fox: I approach it from the view point of working with individual beings instead of treating a disease. "Doctor", in Latin, means educator. The only effective service you can perform, as a true healer, is to empower individuals with the necessary tools, and reassure them that what is happening is real, and that they can heal, and be free of the "negative" symptoms while healing.

First, I require immunological testing, that is not traditionally done. This is a blood laboratory test, performed by an advanced specialty research lab. Then I give the patient the information themselves. This is much like a map of the changes, so that they can have the power to heal. I am not the healer, but only an instrument in their individual healing process.

There is power in a person looking at their own blood tests, and seeing the map of what is going on in their bodies, that causes something to click in their subconscious. The real key, is that the person take responsibility, and do their own work. What I use as tools, are not commonly used. I use a lot of Organotherapy, which is a glandular treatment from Europe, to build up the hormonal system, to accept the changes in the DNA.

Also, I use homeopathy, to work on the energetic body, vitamins, herbs, and cold laser therapy. The therapy depends entirely on individual needs.

Much of what I do, has been accessed, from those whom I would call, older sisters and brothers, who have gone on before us. They are from other solar systems, that we have all come from, to help this planet with its transition.

Patricia Resch: How do you see your work evolving?

Berrenda Fox: I look at my work as a bridge, or transition. It is both scientific and artistic. Healing is an art, and a science. Using only science, or just the art of healing, is not enough for complete health. I don't think I will be a healer all my life, because I believe disease will be eliminated. We as conscious people, will eliminate disease and suffering.

Kim: I think that beneath it all is this belief that it should be possible to reason with all people. If only I could find the right way to present a higher understanding, people would respond positively. I think what is really behind this is that, as you said, I have always had a tendency to look for the beam in my own eye. So when I meet people that I cannot reason with, or cannot even communicate with, I feel like it must be because I am not good enough to tune in to what these people need and how to present it to them in a way that opens their eyes.

I cannot really see a Superficial person being truly happy with themselves. For some reason, it does not ring true to me. I see them and how they act and what they do and I really cannot see how such immature, primitive behavior would have one achieve anything or even be happy. Its like I see something in them that I really do not appreciate.

I say why be Superficial? Does it really make you happier? It does not. Most Superficial people are just other attention-seekers. They have neglected themselves and refuse to see beyond themselves. They think in attention they can feel accepted. They even dress up gothic and emo and say they are depressed when they are not and cut themselves because they want attention. But its really in them that they have to seek their acceptance. They try to find that happiness outside themselves when its in themselves that they should look. Superficial people get themselves in trouble as they are close minded, foolish, and just seek attention. They cannot see the big picture. They start fights and if not, are just undiplomatic. You cannot make peace with them. You cannot explain things to them as they are so full of themselves. They think they are right all the time. This really turns people away from them. And in relationships, people hate them.

I believe you can tell a person is Superficial when you look at them, talk to them, and spend time with them. Not just these few ways, but numerous others. I noticed many traits a Superficial person has. Like an open minded non-shallow person would be more open to experiences. More accepting of life and understanding. They would act and change things and not be close minded. Why there has not been a single inventor, revolutionary, or any person of great change that was Superficial. It just does not work. Superficial people do not try to make themselves better and are of no use to another, far less the world. They are just negative and wallow in their negativies. They hold the world back from what it can truly be. A great place to live. And yet there are so many of them.

First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. And then you win -Mahatma Gandhi

Superficial people would pick on us, Lightworkers. They would ridicule and hate us. Why we Lightworkers are those who increase the frequency of the world. We are happy and actually do something worthwhile. We improve ourselves and help other people. We help the world. And they actually harass us. They are the reason the world is in such a mess. They created it.

Superficial people are such fools that they don't even realize it. Of course. If they did, they wouldn't like that. A person should watch themselves out for those Superficial people. They are fools and are in no way happy with themselves. They are trouble for other people and are of no use for the world. Best not deal with them.

Being Naive

People say that believing in anyone or anything that sounds a bit unconventional to what is widely accepted, is naive. Most of the time if you were to say something outside the norm, someone will say "Don't be stupid" or "Don't be naive", or "Come on that cannot be". Most people would agree that there is a lot of lying in the world and there are a lot of scams out there so they become skeptical in order to insure their own security. In order for a person to fit in and also to not be fooled, they feel they have to be skeptical. I don't really agree with this.

I think that being truly naive is being so skeptical that you are close minded. When you close your mind, you shut off the potential opportunities you may have in life. Surely you benefit the security but you lose more than you could potentially gain. If you are open minded you can eventually claim the benefits that a close minded person would not. What would you gain closing your mind? Not being tricked. But it really depends. Most of the time you won't lose much if you were tricked. Its not worth it being close minded.

A smart person learns from his mistakes, but a wise person learns from others' mistakes

But having an open mind long term has better benefits. If you open yourself up to opportunities and take risks, even if you fail initially or a lot, you still will succeed as long as you learn and continue to seek. Even if you are taking risks, you can improve your security without any loss of potential opportunities. That can happen if you learn something. If you study. If you think. If you learn from your mistakes. You can still learn some information and you can still use common sense at situations. For example if someone you know has lied, do not listen to them if they speak of something similar as they are liars. Or if you have been fooled by a company, do not go to that company anymore. I think that you really are naive when you don't question. When you don't study or think. When you do not question. That is true naiveness. You are ignorant. You lack knowledge. You do not know. You are naive.

Being open minded and using your mind will get you furthest possible instead of closing you mind and locking yourself in. It is not naive to be open to everything and taking risks getting scammed. It is naive to be closing yourself out for some temporary safety from what could help you. From what could benefit you.

You will sometimes meet someone you believe is a soul mate; you feel the connection on many levels, perhaps instantly. And as you get to know each other more, you begin to feel the connection deepen and you feel that you must have an arrangement with this person that predated this lifetime.

Do not assume, however, that this soul connection necessarily means that you are meant to be happily together for this lifetime. It may be that you are meant to be friends and allies, helping each other out. It may be that you are going to help each other in ways that even involve conflict and separation, but with an end result that is beneficial to you. It may be that you are going to learn some lesson from each other and then go your separate ways.

What you need to do with all relationships, including those that have that instant and deep connection, is let be. You need to allow all of life, including close relationships, flow and evolve. You need to let people be who they are, not what you want them to be. And above all, you must not try to control, push and prod, manipulate and orchestrate relationships.

Have the courage and the heart, the centeredness, to follow your own path, to be who you are and love being who you are, no matter what. Shine out and show us who you are, so that people who are looking for someone exactly like you can find you. Do not allow setbacks or even major betrayals to dampen your shine and your being.

In life's journey you will encounter much, narrow paths blocked by avalanches, forks in the road shrouded in fog, deep valleys of darkness and bright sunny days in meadows of golden poppies. It is all a part of life. And as you walk your path, other people will join you for a time: a dear friend, a lover, a spouse, children and parents. And then they may go away.

And through it all, the only constant is that you are you, that you have a core of truth within you and a path to walk, and if you allow your core of truth to tell you which fork in the road to take, if you allow that internal compass to tell you which mountain to climb, then you will do well indeed and have a fulfilling, interesting life. If you go chasing after others, trying to make things be other than how they naturally are, then you will find yourself suddenly awakening in a deep forest without knowing where to turn. You will find yourself lost and confused, because you have lost touch with your own personal truth.

And when this happens, you must just sit down in the forest, become very still, and return to yourself. You must reach down and find yourself again before you continue walking, or else you will simply go around in circles, becoming more desperate and alone and lost.

You are everything you need to be, just as you are, right now. You are the center of your own life. You are the beacon that shines and shows the way.
Be glad when others walk beside you, enjoy their company, connect as closely and deeply as you can, but always, always, shine your own light and walk your own path and allow them to do the same.

Why should society be rushing headlong into a New Reality of awareness at this particular point in history? The sudden awakening of holistic, spiritual thought in the 1960s affected the younger generation of that era. Those who were impressed and changed by, for example, the Summer of Love in the year 1967 will be at the peak of their economic and political influence by the year 2010.

They will, by then, be the Elders of society, the wise ones that younger generations look to for guidance when things go wrong. If society is ready to start moving en masse into The Shift after the year 2010, you have to wonder what cosmic events might be in synchronicity with such timing. Could there be some grand, cosmic event about to occur? How about an imminent event which occurs just once every 26,000 years? Would that pique your curiosity? The ancient Mayan civilization existed up until 830 A.D., when they suddenly disappeared from their cities, leaving no traces behind as to where they may have moved. Despite an apparent lack of precision instruments, the astronomical knowledge of the Mayan culture exceeded today's level of knowledge in many ways. They not only knew the precise orbits of the planets in our solar system, but also the orbits of the stars in our galaxy. They had even cataloged major cosmic events going back more than 400 million years. The Mayan calendars are masterpieces which illustrate the repeating time-spirals of cosmic cycles within cycles within cycles.

The Mayans spoke of waves of influence which pass through the galaxy; waves which are so influential that they are capable of triggering the formation of suns from collections of gases. They also spoke of waves of galactic influence which have a profound effect upon human history on planet Earth. One such critical point is a major galactic synchronization which is due to occur in the very near future, on December 21st, 2012. This date marks the end of a 26,000 year cycle of a style of human experience, as well as the end of a 5,200 year cycle within that, and also the end of many more sub-cycles, all in synchronicity with each other. On December 21st, 2012, when the Mayan calendar again resets to zero, a new 26,000 year cycle begins.

Now, 26,000-year cycles don't suddenly change from an old cycle to a new cycle in the blink of an eye. Such a huge cycle influences a period of overlap, both before and after the exact date of the change to a new cycle. The overlap period before the year 2012 would have included its early influence upon culture in the 1960s, when the current transformation in consciousness began in earnest.
The question is, when future generations look back on our current era, will they see the year 2012 as the pivotal point within The Shift? Could the year 2012 mark a turning point where the old type of humanity, Homo sapiens (knowing man), shifts into wholeness as the second tier of consciousness begins to reach popularity?

Will the second tier be seen, in retrospect, as a new phase of human evolution, a kind of Homo holisticus? One thing that is certain at this point is that The Shift is a real phenomenon and, as the Cultural Creatives and memes studies demonstrate, it is happening today. The Shift is not a temporary by-product of the baby boom generation, or of any other generation in modern society. It is not a passing fad and it is not going away.

The Shift is the result of a cosmic cycle which is unfolding and, slowly but steadily, increasing the frequency of all consciousness upon the planet. The Shift is, to put it simply, the most wonderful transformation in recorded history. This is where humanity gets to build, literally, Heaven on Earth.

What a coincidence! The last few weeks I was researching on the toxic chemicals and the food and drinks. I didn't find anything on sodas but I was always wondering about the High Fructose Corn Syrup shit. I see it everywhere and always drink it. As I am writing this I just drank it. I know poison is Mercury (in vaccines & tooth fillings), Chemtrails, Fluoride, MSG, Aspartame, as well as Inorganic Food, and now High Fructose Corn Syrup too. And today there is news concerning this. Turns out HFCS also contains Mercury. What a discovery. Just as I was wondering it. Just as I was drinking it.

The human DNA is a biological Internet and superior in many aspects to the artificial one. The latest Russian scientific research directly or indirectly explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light, auras around people, namely spiritual masters, the minds influence on weather patterns, and much more..

In addition, there is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes..

Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered "junk DNA. The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of "junk DNA"..

Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary!

According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar..

They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA..

It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language. Garjajev's research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome..

So they successfully transformed, for example, frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns!

This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting out and re- introducing single genes from the DNA. The individual person must work on the inner processes and maturity in order to establish a conscious communication with the DNA. But the higher developed an individual's consciousness is, the less need is there for any type of device! Following the ensuing confusion the Russians started massive research programs leading finally to some of the discoveries mentions above. Many people know vacuum domains as shiny balls in the sky. The attentive look at them in wonder and ask themselves, what they could be. I thought once: "Hello up there. If you happen to be a UFO, fly in a triangle." And suddenly, the light balls moved in a triangle. Or they shot across the sky like ice hockey pucks. They accelerated from zero to crazy speeds while sliding gently across the sky..

One is left gawking and I have, as many others, too, thought them to be UFOs. Friendly ones, apparently, as they flew in triangles just to please me. Now the Russians found in the regions where vacuum domains appear often that sometimes fly as balls of light from the ground upwards into the sky, that these balls can be guided by thought. One has found out since that vacuum domains emit waves of low frequency as they are also produced in our brains. And because of this similarity of waves they are able to react to our thoughts..

To run excitedly into one that is on ground level might not be such a great idea, because those balls of light can contain immense energies and are able to mutate our genes. They can, they don't necessarily have to, one has to say. For many spiritual teachers also produce such visible balls or columns of light in deep meditation or during energy work which trigger decidedly pleasant feelings and do not cause any harm. Apparently this is also dependent on some inner order and on the quality and provenance of the vacuum domain..

There are some spiritual teachers (the young Englishman Ananda, for example) with whom nothing is seen at first, but when one tries to take a photograph while they sit and speak or meditate in hyper-communication, one gets only a picture of a white cloud on a chair. In some Earth healing projects such light effects also appear on photographs..

Simply put, these phenomena have to do with gravity and anti-gravity forces that are also exactly described in the book and with ever more stable wormholes and hyper-communication and thus with energies from outside our time and space structure. Earlier generations that got in contact with such hyper-communication experiences and visible vacuum domains were convinced that an angel had appeared before them..

And we cannot be too sure to what forms of consciousness we can get access when using hyper-communication. Not having scientific proof for their actual existence (people having had such experiences do NOT all suffer from hallucinations) does not mean that there is no metaphysical background to it. We have simply made another giant step towards understanding our reality..

Official science also knows of gravity anomalies on Earth (that contribute to the formation of vacuum domains), but only of ones of below one percent. But recently gravity anomalies have been found of between three and four percent. One of these places is Rocca di Papa, south of Rome (exact location in the book "Vernetzte Intelligenz" plus several others). Round objects of all kinds, from balls to full buses, roll uphill. But the stretch in Rocca di Papa is rather short, and defying logic skeptics still flee to the theory of optical illusion (which it cannot be due to several features of the location)..

The Lightworker's Identity

Lightworkers are souls who carry the strong inner desire to spread Light - knowledge, freedom and self-love - on earth. They sense this as their mission. They are often attracted to spirituality and to therapeutic work of some kind.

Because of their deeply felt mission, lightworkers often feel different from other people. By experiencing different kinds of obstacles on their way, life provokes them to find their own unique path. Lightworkers are nearly always solitary individuals, not fitting into fixed societal structures.

A note on the notion of "lightworker"

The word "lightworker" may evoke misunderstanding, since it lifts out a particular group of souls from the rest. It may be taken to suggest that this particular group is somehow superior to the others, i.e. those "not working for the light." This whole line of thought is at odds with the very nature and intent of lightwork. Let us state briefly what is wrong with it.

First, claims of superiority are generally unenlightened. They block your growth toward a free and loving consciousness. Second, lightworkers are not "better" or "higher" than anyone else. They simply have a different history than the ones not belonging to this group. Because of this particular history, which we will discuss below, they have certain psychological characteristics which distinguish them as a group. Third, every soul becomes a lightworker at some stage of its unfolding, so the label "lightworker" is not reserved to a limited number of souls.

The reason we use the word "lightworker" despite possible misunderstandings is because it carries associations and stirs memories within you that help you remember. There is a practical convenience to it as well, since the term is frequently used in your current spiritual literature.

Historical roots of lightworkers

Lightworkers carry within them the ability to attain spiritual awakening faster than other people. They carry inner seeds for a rapid spiritual awakening. With regard to this, they seem to be on a faster track than most people, if they choose it. This again is not because lightworkers are in any way "better" or "higher" souls. They are, however, older than most souls presently incarnate on earth. This older age should preferably be understood in terms of experience rather than time.

Lightworkers have reached a particular stage of enlightenment before they incarnate on earth and start their mission. They consciously choose to become entrenched in the "karmic wheel of life" and to experience all forms of confusion and illusion that go with it.

They do this in order to fully understand "earth experience." This will enable them to fulfill their mission. Only by going through all stages of ignorance and illusion themselves will they eventually own the tools to help others achieve a state of true happiness and enlightenment.

Why do lightworkers pursue this heartfelt mission to help humanity, thereby running the risk of losing themselves for ages in the heaviness and confusion of earth life? This is a question we will deal with extensively below. For now we will say that it has to do with a galactic type of karma. Lightworkers stood on the eve of humanity's birth on earth. They took part in the creation of man. They were co-creators of humanity. In the process of creation, they made choices and acted in ways which they came to regret deeply afterwards. They are here now to make up for their decisions back then.

Before we go into this particular history, we will name a few characteristics of lightworker souls which generally distinguish them from other people. These psychological traits do not uniquely belong to lightworkers and not all lightworkers will recognize all of them as theirs. By drawing up this list, we simply want to give an outline of the lightworker's psychological identity. With regard to the characteristics, outer behavior is of less importance than inner motivation or felt intent. What you feel inside is more important than what you show outside.

Psychological characteristics of lightworkers:

- From early on in their life, they feel they are different. More often than not they feel isolated from others, lonely and misunderstood. They will often become individualists who will have to find their own unique ways in life.

- They have trouble feeling at home within traditional jobs and/or organization structures. Lightworkers are naturally anti-authoritarian which means that they naturally resist decisions or values based solely on power or hierarchy. This anti-authoritarian trait is present even if they seem timid and shy. It is connected to the very essence of their mission here on earth.

- Lightworkers feel drawn to helping people as a therapist or as a teacher. They may be psychologists, healers, teachers, nurses, etc. Even if their profession is not about helping people in a direct manner, the intent to contribute to the higher good of humanity is clearly present.

- Their vision of life is colored by a spiritual sense of how all things are related together. They consciously or subconsciously carry memories within them of non-earthly spheres of light. They may occasionally feel homesick for these spheres and feel like a stranger on earth.

- They deeply honor and respect life which often manifests as a fondness for animals and a concern for the environment. The destruction of parts of the animal and vegetable kingdoms on earth by human doing invokes deep feelings of loss and grief in them.

- They are kind-hearted, sensitive and empathic. They may have trouble dealing with aggressive behavior and they generally experience difficulties in standing up for themselves. They can be dreamy, naive or highly idealistic, as well as insufficiently grounded, i.e. down-to-earth. Because they easily pick up negative feelings and moods of people around them, it is important for them to spend time alone on a regular basis. This enables them to distinguish between their own feelings and those of others. They need solitary time to touch base with themselves and with mother earth.

- They have lived many lives on earth in which they were deeply involved with spirituality and/or religion. They were present in overwhelming numbers in the old religious orders of your past as monks, nuns, hermits, psychics, witches, shamans, priests, priestesses, etc. They were the ones providing a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between the daily context of earth life and the mysterious realms of the afterlife, realms of God and the spirits of good and evil. For fulfilling this role, they were often rejected and persecuted. Many of you were sentenced to the stake for the gifts you possessed. The traumas of persecution left deep traces within your soul's memory. This may presently manifest as a fear of being fully grounded, i.e. a fear to be really present, because you remember being brutally attacked for who you were.

Getting lost: the Lightworker's pitfall

Lightworkers can be caught up in the same states of ignorance and illusion as anyone else. Although they start from a different point of departure, their capacity to break through fear and illusion in order to attain enlightenment may be blocked by many factors. (By enlightenment, we mean the state of being in which you realize that you are essentially of the Light, capable of choosing light at any time.
)

One of the factors blocking the road to enlightenment for lightworkers is the fact that they carry a heavy karmic burden which may lead them astray for quite some time. As we stated before, this karmic burden is related to decisions they once made with regard to humanity in its infant stages. These decisions were essentially disrespectful of life (we will speak of this later in this chapter). All lightworkers now living wish to set right some of their past mistakes and to restore and cherish what was destroyed because of those mistakes.

When lightworkers have made their way through the karmic burden, which means to release the need for power in any way, they will realize that they are essentially beings of light. This will enable them to help others in finding their own true selves. But first they have to go through that process themselves. This generally demands great determination and perseverance on the inner level. Because society feeds them values and judgments which often go against their own natural impulses, many lightworkers have gotten lost, ending up in states of self-doubt, self-denial and even depression and hopelessness. This is because they cannot fit into the established order of things and they conclude there must be something terribly wrong with them.

What lightworkers have to do at this point is to stop looking for validation from the outside - from parents, friends or society. At some point in time, you who are reading this will have to take the momentous leap to true empowerment, which means to really believe in yourself and to truly honor and act upon your natural inclinations and your inner knowing.
